Establishing Your Design Process

I did not understand how necessary it was to have a streamlined process for my design work, however, once you complete a client project and assess what could have made the experience more effective, you begin to formulate a roadmap of steps to make the experience better and stronger. I am always tweaking my design process to make it more efficient. It’s always a good idea to step back and review your creative process.

We like to be upfront and transparent about what we do and how we do it so there’s a clear understanding.

Below are helpful questions to ask yourself or your team after a project.

  • Was the goal clear?

  • Did we hit our goal? Why or why not?

  • Were the deadlines realistic?

  • Was there enough time?

  • Was this the right team?
